Designer Dylan Menges shares why he walked away from a successful career in big agency advertising to start a tiny design studio, and offers honest advice for restarting your career. If you're ready to take the next step from corporate life to freelancer and/or owner, then come for some practical steps.

Speaker:
Dylan Menges was struck by lightning as a child, but still manages to tie his own shoes. And help brands unleash their unique character through handcrafted design. He owns Menges Design in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, Janet, and their cat, Mr. Big. Clients include: Subaru, Mozilla, Sherwin Williams, Safelite Autoglass, and The Ohio State University.

Parking:
We'll be at Mindstream Interactive in the Arena District. While there are some meters along the street, Mindstream will validate the first 50 parking spots. Vouchers will be given out for the garage located directly next to them - the Cinema Garage.
