Join us as we get together to see the Bruce Springsteen musical-biopic, SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE! The film is directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart) and chronicles the conception of Springsteen's 1982 album Nebraska. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event:

DESCRIPTION: The film follows Bruce Springsteen's journey in crafting his 1982 album Nebraska, which emerged as he recorded Born in the USA with the E Street Band. The film is written/directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart) and is based on the 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere by Warren Zanes. It stars Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, alongside Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz.

BUZZ & ACCLAIM: The film premiered at this year’s Telluride Film Festival, where critics call it an “effective, emotional” “soulful and meditative character study!” Jeremy Allen White is “simply awesome” in a performance that “captures the spirit of Springsteen” and embodies his style “almost flawlessly!”

PLAN: We’ll plan for a 7pm-ish showing and will meet inside the lobby area about 30 minutes before showtime! Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater. When you purchase on the day of the event, be sure to mention you're with the Movie Group for admission and concession discounts. If we get a cooperative showtime, we'll plan to visit the Rusty Bucket after the show! Complete details will be confirmed and announced as the date gets closer.

Should be a good one, Dan
