Columbus Retired Men's Group

This is a group of retired, professional men (50-70s) who are motivated to meet peers and make new friends over dinner, drinks and other relaxed social activities. We’re a group of retired friends, some of whom have known each other for a few years since the meetup group originally formed, and some of whom have recently joined. Our ages range from 50s to 70s. This is not a dating, self-help, or business opportunity group. This is a men’s group.

This Meetup listing is a new membership funnel. We don't use Meetup functionality to schedule or promote events. We do all of that via email and text, once new members are part of the group.

What we do:

• Get together a couple / few times each month.
• Talk about our lives and the joys of being retired.
• Lunches, dinners, community and cultural events, hikes, bikes, etc..
• Benefit from safe, respectful, and enriching conversations, interactions, and friendship.

This Meetup is probably for you if you are…

• Educated, older (50 to 70), male and retired
• Able to meet during traditional work hours
• Comfortable initiating conversation with new people
• Open-minded and intellectually curious about people and topics

What we don’t do:

• Talk about our latest ailments and surgeries.
• Talk about work / business (I mentioned we’re retired, right?).
• Talk about politics, religion, or money. We steer clear of these topics - it’s best that way.
