The National Oysters Rockefeller Day is a day that celebrates the history of the dish, Oysters Rockefeller. Oysters have been around for years and Neolithic men consumed vast quantities of oysters 5,000 years ago. Today, Oysters Rockefeller is a luxurious baked dish crafted in the French Quarter of Louisiana.
What? We'll meet and gather at The Pearl, Dublin. Happy Hour (4-6pm) includes $3.00 oysters on the half shell, baked N'Orleans or fried. Lots of other snacks, too, plus half off cocktails and shareable appetizers.
Parking: Two garages available, one in the same block as the Pearl, the other at the Library across the street.
