This is a very scenic very beautiful hike meandering over rocks of the Palisades. Hike at your own risk. Always climbing over rocks but not scaling rocks it’s a hike

Scramble over the Giant Stairs – a long section of huge boulders that have tumbled from the Palisades – while enjoying views over the
Hudson River into New York.

We will go to a nearby Mexican to eat afterwards if anyone is interested.

This hike is super fun
It begins with a decent climb and then continues on rocky trails over hill and dale and stream crossings
Afterward we enjoy dinner at Ironbound Cider

Do plan on attending the dinner
It’s a jolly good time with corn hole and maybe a band

Super fun hike with a relatively challenging scramble. Super fun hike with a relatively challenging scramble. Since we are walking up from the river we’ll do about 1000 ft elevationin a fairly short distance.
Be sure you are pretty fit before deciding to attend.
I love this hike!
Afterward we will have dinner at Southgate Tavern in Highland Falls
This time of year you will probably want bug spray and PLENTY of water
Definitely you want to wear hiking boots
Bring trekking poles if you use them but they may be a bother on the scramble
