Dr. Seuss Day Cannonball Hike

Come join us for Dr. Seuss’ birthday hike. I’m not a crazy Dr. Seuss fan, but you might be. Given that 3/2 is his birthday, I figured I’d mention it. We will be hiking part of the cannonball trail which is a moderate 7 miles & approximately 900’ elevation.

Blazes for safety, catch up, and racers:
Clockwise:
Red from south west corner of lot
Right on unmarked trail
Right on Yellow and overpass
Right on White loop
Back to yellow and overpass
Follow unmarked trail
Right on yellow
Left on red/blue
Right on blue around the lake
Right on Red back to lot

The purpose of this hike is to make new friends, build community/camaraderie, and get some fresh air and exercise. We’re not going for a gold medal in power hiking! Please come to this hike with aligned expectations. I am looking forward to seeing/meeting you all!

If you like, we can stop midway for lunch/snack
