May the Fourth be with you at Pyramid Mountain.

Come Join Us for May the Fourth be with you at Pyramid Mountain. This hike is approximately 6 miles with moderate elevation. Given that it is 6 miles, we can stop halfway for a snack if you choose. Also, the obvious boots, poles, and layers!

We will begin at the Boonton Ave Rec Field. Pin is accurate. Use It bc I do not know if this is Butler or Kinnelon.

• Start on green
• Stay right on orange moving counterclockwise
• Stay left on blue dot trail to Tripod Rock and back track out making a left on orange to Whale Rock.
• Move beyond Whale Rock and over the footbridge to Bear Rock.
• After BR go left over footbridge and follow yellow with black dot making an immediate right on yellow with black dot at fork.
• Moving up and forward stay right on blue dot trail and an almost immediate left on blue trail.
• Left on orange - walking mostly adjacent to the water.
• Stay right on green and head back to lot

The purpose of this hike is to make new friends, build community/camaraderie, and get some fresh air and exercise. We’re not going for a gold medal in power hiking! Please come to this hike with aligned expectations.
