Let's Try Again! Splitrock Reservoir 7 Points of Interest Hike 6.8 miles

Come Join me and my dog Roy for a 7 point of interest hike beginning at the Split Rock Reservoir. We will visit the Split Rock Dam / waterfalls, a furnace,a stream and great views from the Hawk Watch Overlook. We will continue to the Bat mine, we can't go in but can look inside. We will make a very short stop at an old cemetery from 1869 and conclude with a nice view of the Reservoir from the opposite side of the Dam. All this under 7 miles. This would normally be a longer hike but I was able to find shortcuts.
The hike consists of easy level portions but also somewhat strenuous inclines with rocky and smooth terrain to make it a moderately challenging hike. There are also a couple short off trail sections but nothing long or difficult. Hiking boots required and poles might be of value to some. We can grab a bite afterwards if interested.

Length = about 6.8 miles
Elevation Gain = about 1000ft
