About us
Our mission is to cultivate local community connections through social volunteering. We've been doing this since 2012, and we have logged over 25,000+ service hours together as a community.
Who Are We?
Community-minded individuals primarily in their 20s and 30s who want to serve the community and meet new people. If that sounds like you, this is the meetup for you!
We serve an array of nonprofits (typically 2-3x per month)
and hold various social events throughout the month too!
Love Building Community?
Find us on Discord where you'll see curated posts about various social activities and community building events from your new volunteer community!
What You'll Do?
You will volunteer with variety of partners addressing issues relevant to Atlanta i.e. Urban Agriculture, Health Food Systems, Parks & Sustainability, Seniors, Animal Welfare, and more. Then, you'll get to know your fellow volunteers at a social gathering afterwards.

Community Bucket Volunteers at Inman Park Festival
Inman Park, Euclid Ave NE & Elizabeth St NE, Atlanta, GA, USVolunteer with us at the Inman Park Festival as Parade Marshals!
Volunteers will be asked to help with event check-in before the event, serve as parade marshals, and help with traffic and crowd management during the parade.
Where to meet before the parade:
TBD
Where to park for the event?
Trick question! Volunteers are HIGHLY encouraged to use Marta/ride share, bike or walk to reach the event. Parking will be extremely limited. Most streets will be entirely closed during the festival. Check out https://festival.inmanpark.org/map/ for Marta or the (free!) bike valet locations.
Will Community Bucket march in the parade?
Yes, all Community Bucket volunteers will march at the very end of the parade and hold “The End” banner.
Please bring a water bottle, wear closed-toed shoes and dress comfortably. Storage is NOT available. You will be carrying anything you bring with you.
Parade marshal t-shirts will be provided upon arrival but will need to be returned after the event.
Please plan on wearing comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet all day.
Following the event, join your Host Captains for a social hour around the festival.
About Inman Park Neighborhood Association:
Inman Park is the neighborhood of Joel Hurt’s dreams: beautiful homes filled with professionals who appreciate the charm of urban living in a bucolic setting. Almost all of the houses – both the mansions and the smaller dwellings – have been restored to their former glory, and the parks scattered throughout the neighborhood are well-maintained green spaces that pay homage to Hurt’s original designs. A strong neighborhood association – IPNA – continues to fight for the betterment of the neighborhood, mostly financed by a three-day annual festival that brings thousands to Inman Park for food, music and a tour of the historic homes.
