# Community Bucket Volunteers at Our Giving Garden! 🌱

Come out and volunteer with Community Bucket as we help fight hunger and give back to our Atlanta community! Join us for a rewarding day at Our Giving Garden in Mableton, where we'll roll up our sleeves, get our hands dirty, and help support an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our neighbors!
We're excited to partner with Our Giving Garden on Saturday, November 14th! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just looking for a fun way to give back, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact, enjoy some fresh air, and connect with fellow volunteers!
Volunteer Shift: 2 Hours

### What We'll Be Doing 🌿

We'll be spending two hours helping the team at Our Giving Garden with various gardening and outdoor tasks.
Our Giving Garden works to address food insecurity in our community, and our volunteer efforts will help support their mission of providing fresh, nutritious food to those who need it most.
No gardening experience is necessary! Just bring a willingness to help, get a little dirty, and have some fun with your fellow Community Bucket volunteers!

### Volunteer Registration & Waiver — REQUIRED!

Everyone volunteering MUST complete the volunteer waiver in addition to RSVPing on Meetup.
Community Bucket will send the waiver to your email associated with Meetup 2 says prior to the event.

We'll need a completed waiver from every volunteer participating in the workday.

Space is limited to 15 volunteers, so please only RSVP if you're confident you can attend!
If your availability changes, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so another volunteer can take your spot.

### Check-In 📍

Location: Our Giving Garden
75 Cooper Lake Road SE
Mableton, GA

Please park in the lot next to Vinings Lake Church. The entrance to the Garden is located at the back of the parking lot, where the lead gardeners will meet our group.
We'll gather with our fellow Community Bucket volunteers before getting started with our two-hour shift!

### What to Bring

We'll be working outdoors, so come prepared to get a little dirty!

• Closed-toe shoes: Sneakers or boots suitable for gardening and outdoor work
• Comfortable clothing: Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty
• Refillable water bottle: Stay hydrated! Filtered water will be available for refills
• Sunscreen, bug spray, and a hat: Recommended for working outdoors
• A positive attitude: Bring some energy and a willingness to help wherever needed!

Indoor bathrooms will be available, and volunteers are welcome to take breaks as needed.

### Parking & Transportation 🚗

Free parking is available in the lot at 75 Cooper Lake Road SE, next to Vinings Lake Church.
Important: While Our Giving Garden's business address is 79 Cooper Lake Road, that parking lot is not open to the public. Please use the designated volunteer parking area at 75 Cooper Lake Road SE.
The Garden entrance is at the back of the parking lot.
