Ready for the Heat Inner Sunset Stay Safe, Stay Cool

Details

Join Alice Wong, MME, MT-BC, Community Planning Coordinator with SF Public Health Emergency Preparedness & Response, for a short and engaging discussion on how to stay safe during extreme heat events. Learn practical tips on emergency readiness, discover resources available in your neighborhood, and find out how to protect yourself and your loved ones when temperatures rise.

By participating, you’ll help build a more prepared and resilient community. Sharing what you learn with friends and neighbors can make a real difference—especially for older adults, people with disabilities, and others who may be more vulnerable in a heatwave.

At this event, you’ll take part in an interactive presentation and conversation led by a local expert. You'll gain valuable emergency preparedness tips, get access to local resources, and learn simple ways to stay safe—and help others—during extreme heat.

This event is offered in partnership with the California Volunteers' Neighbor-to-Neighbor program and the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services.
