Come make new friends and beautiful music—everyone is welcome at our free monthly Singing in the Park event! Whether you're a confident singer, total beginner, or just in the mood to listen and soak up the sunshine, this is a happy, judgment-free space to connect through music. SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH. (Unless the meetup says something different)

What to Expect:

11:00-11:10 AM: Arrive, chat, and meet new faces
11:10–11:45 AM: Warm up with simple songs
11:45–1 PM: Unstructured fun: jamming, karaoke, arts and crafts, boba, etc.

Instruments welcome! We love when folks bring acoustic instruments like guitars, ukuleles, or anything else that adds to the joy. We can teach simple chords for the songs we play. But of course, feel free to simply sing too!

What to Bring:

  • Layers! It’s often chilly in the mornings.

  • A blanket or something comfy to sit on (we also have extra stools/blankets, so no sweat if you don’t have one)

  • Water, snacks for the craft making portion if you’d like, and anything else that makes you feel comfortable

This event is kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and 100% inclusive. All voices and levels are welcome—no experience needed, and no pressure to be perfect.

About the Host:
Hi! I’m Ryan. I grew up in a hippie tradition of folk music in Marin, and sharing simple songs communally is deeply important to me. I've been a regular member under the previous organizer for almost a year, bringing friends and making more.

Singing in the Park, also known as the Community Sing, is a space where people could come together and sing without worrying about finances, judgment, or hitting every note just right. This is a space for messy, joyful singing, and intentional community.

We meet every Second Sunday of the Month at 11:00AM in Mother’s Meadow, come say hi!
