## About

Community is a welcoming place to connect, learn, and grow.
Originally created as the District 33 Toastmasters Meetup, Community has evolved into an independent community where people come together to improve communication, develop leadership skills, exchange ideas, and build lasting friendships.
Many of our members are current or former Toastmasters, and we continue to support the Toastmasters community while welcoming anyone interested in personal or professional growth.

### What You'll Find Here

Communication – Public speaking, storytelling, presentations, roundtable discussions, meaningful conversations, and communication skills.
Leadership – Leadership discussions, book club, mentoring, committee skills, and opportunities to grow by serving others.
Professional & Personal Development – Artificial Intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, networking, marketing, business, productivity, and personal growth.
Community – Social gatherings, wellness, creativity, Conscious Awakening discussions, and other special-interest topics that strengthen friendships and community.

Community is guided by a volunteer Steering Committee, and members are encouraged to suggest ideas, participate in discussions, and help shape future events.
Toastmasters Clubs, Areas, Divisions, and Districts are welcome to post club meetings, open houses, speech contests, training sessions, conferences, and other public events on the Community Meetup at no charge, subject to Steering Committee approval.
Whether you're an experienced speaker, an entrepreneur, a lifelong learner, or simply looking for a welcoming community, we'd love to have you join us.
