Join us for a night of lights and festivities at the Cincinnati Zoo's Festival of Lights!

Experience the awe of over 5 million LED lights brightening up the season. Fun seasonal images, lighted animal displays, and lighted music shows. Cincinnati has one of the country's most fun and popular light zoo festivals.

We will meet at the front gate at 4pm to give us about an hour to check out the animals. Then, around 5ish, the sun will go down and the lights will go up. We will enjoy the many displays including Fiona's Fairyland (my favorite girl) and the Wild Lights on Swan Lake, a spectacular light show set to music.

We can grab dinner, hot chocolate or even a hot toddy at the Zoo if folks want or we enjoy the lights and go elsewhere for dinner. If anyone has dinner suggestions, please share here. Also, for those on a budget, be aware the Zoo does allow attendees to bring in food and drink. Feel free to wear a pack and bring a sack dinner, water bottle or thermos of hot chocolate for yourself.

Tickets are $19 for seniors and children or $25 for adults. Those with Zoo memberships can get 4 1/2 priced tickets. I have a membership and can buy a ticket for the first 4 who ask. You can send me the money via Venmo or Paypal. If there are other members who are willing to purchase tickets for non-members, please note in comments. SECURITY NOTE: Please request payment via whatever payment options you use prior to purchase so you aren't left unpaid for tickets!!!

If you bring children, you will be responsible for them. Please do not expect our members to be watching out for your kiddos. It will be dark. If they are young, please consider a harness or other safety device. Y'all I stand with Harambe and still to this day mourn his untimely and unnecessary death.

Please be on time. If you are having trouble parking, caught in traffic, etc, please text at 513-503 -9601. I will watch my texts until 4:15pm. After that, I am off duty and cannot guarantee a reply if you arrive late.
