Movie Night: Letting Go of God with Julia Sweeney

At our monthly support Meetup, we discussed this stand-up featuring atheist Julia Sweeney. I was surprised no one had seen it, so I decided to hold a movie night at my house. Join us Saturday evening for laughs and discussion as we first watch the film, then we can discuss our own journeys to non-belief.

Due to this being at my home, I am limiting the attendees to 10. If we have more folks interested, we can consider moving to a library at an earlier time, but basically, I just got a 70 inch TV and I want to try it out!! For security, I will message everyone my address Friday, August 7th at noon. For driving time reference, I live on the west side in Covedale in between Western Hills, Westwood and Price Hill behind Western Hills High School/Dater High School.

Letting Go of God is Julia Sweeney's hilarious one woman Broadway show where she shares her personal journey from Catholicism to Atheism through several different experiences and religious exploration. You are guaranteed to laugh, nod in agreement and relate to her comical tale of finding god and letting god go for good.

Bring a snack or drinks to share. Adult drinks are welcome. I will have some water, and non-alcoholic beverages as well. We can also order pizza if folks would like.
