COMO Social Biking

We'll leave from the McBaine trailhead at 6 PM and ride the 6 miles to Cooper's Landing. We'll enjoy some drinks and maybe a food truck (if we're lucky) beside the river before riding the 6 miles back.

Helmets are always advised. Lights are encouraged. It's forecast to be a hot one, so be sure to bring plenty of water with you! Bug spray is also never a bad idea at Cooper's.

For those wanting a longer ride, some of us will be leaving from the Scott Blvd trailhead (soccer field/bathroom side) at 5:30. This adds 4.5 mil each way.

Please join Bruce and I in riding bikes to Stephen’s Lake Park to watch the fireworks, then ride back.

We will haul chairs in our wagon on our bike so can haul several chairs!

Must have light on bike and a sense of adventure. We will ride to the sidewalk at the top of the amphitheater to regroup and decide where to sit to watch the fireworks, locking our bikes nearby.

Bug spray needed. There will be some street riding.

This crushed limestone trail has three hand dug rock tunnels and five small towns along its 32.5-mile route, it is a favorite Wisconsin bicycling destination.
A reservation has been made for a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house located 3 miles north of Wilton, WI. (14 guest limit) There is a community campground in the town of Wilton if you would prefer to camp.
Option for an add on trip to Appleton, WI for Mile of Music. 7/30 - 8/2. (2 1/2 hours)
