Hartsburg to Jefferson City Airport Restaurant Ride
Let’s meet at 11 am at the Hartsburg Trailhead for a 24-mile RT ride on both the Katy Trail and city streets to have lunch at The Landing Zone Restaurant at the Jeff. City Airport. We will stop at the Katy Trail-North Jeff. City Trailhead where restrooms and water are available. Then we take the Katy Trail Spur into the North Jeff. City Recreation Area and ride over the Rt. 54 bridge. Caution is advised here as we encounter an incline and on and off ramps. The Landing Zone has indoor and covered outdoor seating. Return with the group or on your own. Helmets are advised.

This crushed limestone trail has three hand dug rock tunnels and five small towns along its 32.5-mile route, it is a favorite Wisconsin bicycling destination.
A reservation has been made for a 5 bedroom, 3 bath house located 3 miles north of Wilton, WI. (14 guest limit) There is a community campground in the town of Wilton if you would prefer to camp.
Option for an add on trip to Appleton, WI for Mile of Music. 7/30 - 8/2. (2 1/2 hours)

The Mile of Music Festival is a four day free music festival in Appleton, WI. The festival starts Thursday morning and runs until Sunday at 5PM. Some of our group is staying in a small airbnb, which is at capacity. Others are staying in hotels southeast of the main festival throughway (12 blocks} on College Ave. There are additional venues to the north and south of College Ave. If you plan to bike during the festival it is suggested that you get a room near the CE & Newberry bike trails (along the Fox River) which lead to nearby music venues. Suggestions include:
