East End Loop

Start Location: 509 Fay St, Columbia, MO 65201 (the parking lot behind and across Fay from Logboat, directly across from Beet Box). There is also street parking on Fay.

We will ride up to Wilkes and through Columbia College, down 8th Street through the Courthouse plaza back to 8th to Elm (MIZZOU!). From Elm we'll go to the MKT to the MU Rec Trail to Hinkson Creek to Grindstone and out to Maguire Blvd. Up over the hill through the neighborhood to the gate, down the hill to the Turnbull Connector and onto the Hominy Creek trail to Stephens Lake Park. Then onto Windsor (Bike Blvd) across College following the bike lane to 10th and back to Logboat. Total distance is in the 14 mile range. One big hill on Macguire. A short steep uphill to Windsor. Otherwise mostly flat. There will be strategic catchup and photo stops. We will find people to sweep each section. Average speed of about 10 mph. It's almost the summer solstice so plenty of daylight.
