The Computer Deconstruction Laboratory at the InfoAge Science and History Museums is pleased to announce a new class. The class is sponsored by CDL and InfoAge.

The class is designed for experienced software developers who want to add AI to their toolkit. Typical experience with a high-level language like C, C++, Python, etc.

We will focus on Claude Code for the class. The skills that will be taught are reusable with other AI systems. We will show how the developer can protect their work from AI hallucinations.
As of the development of the class, Claude is the best AI system for software development. But, the lead AI system for development may rapidly change back and forth between multiple competing AI systems.
The students are suggested to plan to build a project on their own as part of the class. Two pdf files are on the github site, for suggested projects: one for microprocessor development, and one for general development. They can also choose their own project not on the list.
This class will NOT cover “Vibe” coding for non-programmers.
The class will be held in the Learning Center in Building 9059 at the InfoAge Science and History Museum 2201 Marconi Road Wall, NJ 07719
The Tuition will be $300 in check or cash collected at the first class. The tuition covers the cost of the use of InfoAge facilities.
