Virginia Beach Composting Collective Open Practice Workshop

We are getting together for a hands-on workshop to talk about the basics of composting here in Virginia Beach. Whether you have been curious about starting your own pile at home or you are already composting and want to troubleshoot a few issues, this is a space to share what works and what does not. We will spend some time discussing the local climate, what materials are best to use, and how to keep things balanced throughout the seasons.
This event is open to everyone, regardless of your experience level or the size of your backyard. The goal is to learn from each other and make the process feel a little less intimidating. Please feel free to bring any specific questions you have about your own setup or just come ready to chat with fellow neighbors who are interested in reducing waste. It would be great to get a sense of how many people are coming, so please go ahead and RSVP if you think you can make it.
