GOODBYE AWKWARD "HELLOS": INTRODUCING YOURSELF WITH CONFIDENCE

Introducing yourself can feel surprisingly difficult. A big meeting, a networking event, the “tell me about yourself” moment in a job interview … when the spotlight is on us, we have a lot to think about. How do we open clearly and confidently to make a positive first impression on those that we meet?
Nailing your personal introduction is one of the foundations of becoming a more confident communicator overall.
In this interactive workshop, led by Brighter Works co-founders Kirsty Cooke and Michelle Fahrenheim, you will find a warm, supportive space to discover, practise and hone your personal introduction: what to say, how to say it, and how to make sure it lands as you intended.

Through discussion, pair work, practice and play, you will leave this workshop with:

  • A way of introducing yourself that feels authentic to you, and works in scenarios you actually face.
  • Greater confidence in talking about yourself and your achievements or skills (in an engaging, natural way).
  • Plenty of practice under your belt, in a fun, encouraging environment.

Feel more comfortable introducing yourself, make sure you’re memorable for the right reasons, and take the pressure out of the “Oh no! It’s my turn!” moment.
A key skill in your confident communication toolkit, sorted.
