The topic?
Electric Vehicle Regulation: Roadmap for Dealing with Autonomous Vehicles
California Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order requiring all new cars sold in the state to be zero-emission vehicles by 2035. The measure is not only aimed at improving the environment and addressing climate change, but also at spurring innovation and economic growth in the state. The switch to zero-emission vehicles is just one of many challenges facing the auto industry today. Can legislation, such as California's recent executive order, also accelerate development and deployment of connected and autonomous vehicles vehicles?
Join Connected Car Talk DC and the DC Autonomous Vehicles Association (DC-AVA) as we host a discussion with Selika Talbott of American University to learn about how legislation can be a roadmap for the future of mobility.
So find a good spot to set your phone or computer camera, and join us on Thursday (10/29) starting at 12:00 pm ET on Zoom.
