View from Above: How Satellite Constellations Will Change Ground Transportation

Details
This event format is going to be a little bit different. We're having it online at 12:00 pm EDT next Wednesday (6/8) via Zoom. So find a nice spot to set your phone or computer camera, enjoy the presentation and join us for Q&A after.
GPS is ubiquitous in our lives and its current capabilities are taken for granted. But can satellite-based navigation do more to answer critical questions on V2X, mapping and autonomy? Join Connected CarTalk DC and the DC Autonomous Vehicles Association for a virtual presentation as we meet the founders of TrustPoint, a startup with a plan to improve GPS and make it an even more important tool in the future of autonomous vehicles and mobility.
Background on our presenters:
TrustPoint is developing a fully commercial next-generation GPS service to provide significant performance, security and reliability improvements for PNT users. This includes better accuracy, quicker Time-To-First-Fix, and anti-spoof and anti-jam capabilities. The improvements will support USG PNT resiliency requirements as well as commercial applications like automated navigation, vital infrastructure management, and augmented reality.
