About us
Welcome to Connecticut Hike Bike and Paddle. This is a very social group open to every one of all ages. We will try to embrace all the seasons and select outdoor activities just right for the weather. Afterwards join us for fellowship by sharing a meal at a local restaurant or a picnic near the event. Events will include hiking, biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, cross country skiing, and maybe even some dancing. We will try to explore all the wonderful terrain that Connecticut has to offer. Escarpment Traverse in the Catskills
Scutt Rd Parking Lot, Scutt Rd, Hunter, NY, US23 miles and 6,500 ft of elevation gain.
We will climb Windham and Blackhead Mtns, passing through great places like Burnt Knob, Acra Point, Arizona Mtn, Stoppel Point and many other great viewpoints along the trail.
Blue trail all the way.
This is a point to point hike, so we will meet at the end and carpool to the start.
