Hello & Welcome to Connecticut Wine Lovers.
Meet fellow Wine Enthusiasts! Come socialize, meet new people, and taste new wines; Everyone is welcome, from beginners, bouquet-sniffers to educated connoisseurs.
We explore vineyards, wineries, wine bars, restaurants, and other wine-themed activities.
RSVP: We have to notify the venue of our headcount. Don't forget to include guests in your RSVP. If you only reserve one spot, we may not be able to accommodate your guest. Since we don't want to turn anyone away, please be sure you have accounted for everyone when you sign up for the event.
Cancellation: We understand that life happens. We need to confirm the headcount to events 48 hours in advance. Any cancellation must be 48 hours in advance. Anyone that does not adhere to the cancellation policy will be subject to the no-show rules. This means that if you cancel on the day of the event, you will be considered as a no-show.
No-shows: Third no show, without a good reason at the discretion of the Organizer, the member risks being removed from the group. There should be no reason that a person can’t cancel at least 2 days prior. If a valid reason is provided, this person will not be subject to this rule.
Photo ID Required: Your profile requires a current face view photo so organizers can recognize you at events. If you cannot provide one for a valid reason please contact the Organizer or Co-Organizer. To those members who do not have an appropriate photo posted at this time, please update your photo.
Noise Levels: While we want everyone to relax and have fun, please remember to watch the level of your voice when inside an establishment so other guests can enjoy their time as well.
Behavior: Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and your membership can be canceled at the discretion of the Organizer or Co-organizer.
Each member who consumes alcohol acknowledges that they are solely responsible for any and all damages suffered by themself or that they may cause to third parties as a result of said consumption. The group is not responsible for individual members and assumes no liability.
Donation Jar/box: To help cover the cost of Meetup charges, we collect donations at events. Annual dues are a possibility if donations don’t cover charges. Any extra funds go to the Christmas party.
