About us
Many people reach a point in adult life where connection becomes harder than expected.
Friendships take more effort. Communities change.
And it’s not always obvious where we truly belong.
The Connection Circle is a space to explore these questions together.
Through online conversations and workshops, we look at topics such as:
• Making friends as an adult
• Building meaningful relationships
• Finding community and belonging
• Navigating social transitions in your 30s and beyond
• Putting yourself out there in ways that feel authentic
Along the way, the aim is also to equip you with ideas, perspectives, and practical tools to help you build the kinds of connections and communities you want in your life.
Some events will be more reflective. Others more practical.
But the goal is always the same: helping people think more intentionally about connection and belonging.
About the different types of sessions
The Connection Circle includes two types of events:
Open sessions (free to attend)
These are more accessible and tend to have a larger number of participants. They explore different aspects of connection, belonging, and community in a more open format.
Guided workshops (£5)
These sessions run slightly longer and include more time for reflective exercises. With a smaller group, there is also more opportunity for interaction via the chat and engagement with the host.
The group is hosted by Tim Delure, a coach focusing on connection and belonging.
Everyone is welcome.

Belonging: Finding Your People in Adult Life (Guided Workshop)
·OnlineOnlineMany people want deeper connection on their lives. But an important question often remains unclear: where do we actually find our people?
**This is a guided workshop: a slightly longer session with more time for reflection and Q&A, and a smaller group allowing for more interaction via the chat. This session filled up quickly last time, so I’m offering it again.**
In adult life, belonging rarely happens automatically. Communities change, people move, and many of us find ourselves navigating environments that don’t always feel like the right fit.
This session is part of The Connection Circle, a series of workshops exploring connection, belonging, and community in modern life.
In this 60-minute coaching-style session, we’ll explore the idea of belonging and the environments where meaningful relationships are most likely to grow.During the session we’ll explore:
• what belonging actually feels like
• why some environments make connection easier than others
• how to recognise spaces where you’re more likely to find “your people”You’ll also be guided through a short reflective exercise to help you think about where belonging already exists in your life and where you might want to cultivate more of it.
The ideas in this session draw on The Reconnection Journey, a framework I use with coaching clients to help people move from disconnection to belonging.
What to Expect
The session will run for around 60 minutes and will include:
• a short introduction to belonging and connection
• a framework for thinking about where connection forms most naturally
• a short reflective exercise during the session
• optional time for questions or reflections at the endParticipation
You are very welcome to simply listen.Don’t worry: the host won’t be singling you out. This is a space you can simply come into, listen, and reflect.
To keep things smooth given the size of the event, this will be run more like a live talk:
• participants will be on mute throughout the session
• you may be invited to share something in the chat at certain moments (optional), but otherwise I’ll keep the chat for the end so we can stay focused
• there will be a short Q&A at the end,
where you can send in questions via the chatThere will be a few moments for reflection during the session, with prompts to help you think about your own experiences and take away something useful.
Cost
£5 per personThese sessions have seen a lot of interest, and places often fill up quickly. Until now they’ve been free to attend, but I’m introducing a small participation fee to help reduce no-shows and make more space available for those on the waitlist who would like to join.

While friendships are often part of this conversation, connection can also relate to community, social belonging, romantic or family relationships, or simply feeling less alone in the world.
You’ll leave with a simple reflection exercise you can use to better understand your own “connection landscape” and where you might want to focus your energy.

Feeling Like Yourself Around Others – Why It Matters (Guided Workshop)
·OnlineOnlineMany people want deeper connection in their lives. But even when opportunities are there, an important question often remains unclear:
Why do we sometimes feel like we’re not fully ourselves around others, and what can we do about it?**This is a guided workshop: a slightly longer session with more time for reflection and Q&A, and a smaller group allowing for more interaction via the chat.**
In adult life, it’s not just about finding the right people. It’s also about how we show up in our relationships. Many of us find ourselves holding back, adapting, or not fully expressing who we are, often without realising it.
This session is part of The Connection Circle, a series of workshops exploring connection, belonging, and community in modern life.
In this 60-minute coaching-style session, we’ll explore what it means to feel like yourself in your relationships, and why this plays such an important role in building meaningful connection.
During the session we’ll explore:
• what becomes possible when you feel more like yourself around others
• why we sometimes hold back or adapt in different situations
• how to recognise and move towards the situations where you feel more open, at ease, and connectedYou’ll also be guided through a short reflective exercise to help you notice where you already feel most like yourself, and what might be getting in the way elsewhere.
The ideas in this session draw on The Reconnection Journey, a framework I use with coaching clients to help people move from disconnection to belonging.
