What we’re about
Looking for real conversation, the kind that goes beyond small talk and sparks something deeper?
Connection Circle is a community of thoughtful people curious about psychology, relationships, and the messiness of being human.
Each gathering offers a lightly moderated conversation around a weekly topic: from themes like loneliness, intimacy and belonging, to ideas drawn from attachment theory, self-compassion, or even a film or podcast. Every week brings a new lens, but always in service of the same inquiry: what allows us to feel truly seen and what keeps us apart?
This group welcomes all who share its core values: integrity, psychological safety and inclusiveness. We aim to foster a space where curiosity is encouraged, differences are respected, and kindness is non-negotiable. Whether you come reflective or unsure, talkative or quiet, polished or awkward—there's room for you here. All we ask is that we treat one another with care and respect.
We meet every two weeks on Wednesdays at Spartacus Books in Vancouver, with occasional bonus events added from time to time. We're grateful to Spartacus for generously sharing their space with us.
