Connective Gatherings exists to help people build friendships, create connections, and experience a sense of community in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
We believe meaningful relationships grow through shared experiences and consistent participation. Our goal is to provide opportunities for people to connect, expand their social circles, and become part of a welcoming community.

Community Rules & Participation Standards
To help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized community, members are required to review the Community Rules & Participation Standards and complete a brief acknowledgment form after joining and annually thereafter.
Participation in events may be restricted until the acknowledgment is completed.
Members who do not complete the acknowledgment may not remain eligible for participation in the community.
Members must maintain a Meetup.com profile photo that clearly identifies their face to participate in the community.

Beginner East Coast Swing Dancing Lesson + Social Dance @ TOSS
Southminster Presbyterian Community Center, 3500 S Peoria Ave, Tulsa, OK, USHey everyone, let's do some East Coast Swing Dancing at TOSS: The Oklahoma Swing Syndicate.
TOSS hosts a beginner East Coast Swing dancing lesson on the 1st and 3rd Saturday every month from 7:00pm-7:30pm followed by a social dance from 7:30pm-10:00pm.
These events have worked out really well with having other people in the group to dance and socialize with, along with the TOSS volunteers to help, so it is always fun and a good time, even if you have never been dancing in your life before.
I encourage anyone that normally wouldn't participate in such an activity to get out of their comfort zone and come out and look like a fool and laugh and have a good time with us!
We can meet at the Community Center lobby 15 minutes (6:45pm) before the beginner lesson for introductions, and everyone can stay out as late or leave as early as you wish.
Prices are:

- TOSS Student Members: $4
- TOSS Guest: $9
- TOSS Student Guest: $7
Minors and friends are welcome as guest RSVPs to this particular event, but a TOSS Minor Participation Consent must be completed before attending per TOSS guidelines.
About TOSS:
TOSS mission is to preserve and promote the continued existence and growth of Lindy Hop and its related social dances of the Swing Era.- Dances are held almost every 1st and 3rd Saturday night at Southminster Presbyterian Community Center Gymnasium (Entrance on E 35th Place).
- They teach beginning and intermediate East Coast Swing/Lindy Hop lessons at almost every dance.
- They host special events such as workshops, live bands, and themed dances.

Philbrook Museum: Everything We Dream – Native Abstraction
Philbrook Museum of Art, 2727 South Rockford Road, Tulsa, OK, USJoin us for a relaxed afternoon exploring Philbrook Museum with one another.
We'll spend time viewing the Everything We Dream: Native Abstraction exhibit, along with any other galleries that are open during our visit. Afterward, anyone who is interested is welcome to stay and walk the gardens or continue the conversation over coffee or a snack at the museum café.
Whether you enjoy museums regularly or this is your first visit, everyone is welcome.
What to Expect

- Meet new people and enjoy conversation along the way.
- Stay afterward if you'd like to visit the gardens or café.
Admission
Museum admission is required. Please purchase your own ticket before arriving if possible. Tickets can be purchased here. Make sure to select the 2pm time slot. Adults are $20, college students / seniors are $15.Hope to see you there!
