Unfinished Business: Conflict Resolution, Antagonism, & Restorative Justice
Details
Greetings,
Let’s meet again to discuss unfinished business—this time with an emphasis on conflict resolution and restorative justice. Adaptive conflict resolution may often involve respect, mutual agreement, and peaceful problem solving. However, some issues may involve covert and/or overt antagonism, personality issues, insight difficulties, behavioral problems (e.g., verbal aggression, manipulation, projection, extreme reactions, unjust blame, stonewalling/refusing to address the issue, defensiveness, baiting and switching, DARVO tactics—Denying responsibility, Attacking, Reversing Victim Offender; gaslighting) and ulterior motives (press, monetary gain).
If you have an unresolved conflict (individual, community based, systemic/societal) that you would like to address and problem solve collaboratively—with a counsel/jury of peers, feel free to RSVP. Also feel free to share suggestions regarding alternative times, days, locations (e.g., in person). Feel free to also reach out at anytime if you are interested in co-facilitating and/or collaborating (optional), thank you.
