Black Think Tank: Problem Solving Issues in the Black Community
Details
Greetings,
Let's meet for a discussion of Black Think Tanks and their role in problem solving issues in the black community. Through unique contribution, these advocacy organizations—often nonprofit and grassroots—research, lead, and build relationships based on shared values and trust. They set clear goals, partner with multidisciplinary change agents, meet routinely with advisory board members, and facilitate regular ongoing community discussions and dialogue. They bring awareness to issues that exist within and external to the community and work to implement the most effective ethical ways to address them.
For those interested in participating in think tank style research, brainstorming, conversations, and calls to action, feel free to RSVP. If there are any questions, comments, or suggestions (in person meetings, different locations, days and times) feel free to reach out via meet-up message or phone at any time, thank you.
