Have you ever felt like you "lost yourself" during an intense conversation? Have you wished to remain fully present, even in the face of conflict or anxiety?

We're going to discuss:

  • How our communication and connection endeavors are affected by the biology of the brain
  • How to prevent and recover from amygdala hijacks (when we "lose ourselves")
  • How our internal stories affect our nervous system, and
  • Building a sense of presence aligned with our internal world, one that stands the test of the most tense situations you may face.

You have dreams to fulfill and connections to create and nurture - don't face these challenges without preparation! - come learn and practice with our group as we discuss staying grounded in tumultuous times.

  • We will be in Ford-Warren Community Room #2

Depending on how the group discussion goes, we will have a group meditation or activity to practice skills of presence and awareness.
