Navigating Intuition vs. Fear when dating again.

Have you ever had a feeling in your gut that something wasn't right?

Maybe you ignored the feeling and later wished you hadn't.
Have you ever had a feeling that someone was going to hurt you, disappoint you or leave you, only to discover that your fear was telling you a story that wasn't actually true.

After we've experienced heartbreak, betrayal, divorce, rejection or disappointment, it can become difficult to know the difference between Intuition and Fear.
Our gut can be an incredibly powerful source of information and guide us in the right direction. Yet sometimes what we call our “gut feeling” is actually an old wound trying to protect ourselves out of fear.

So how do we know which one we're listening to?

September's colour of the month is connected to Yellow in Colour Psychology. The colour of mental clarity, questioning, awareness and discernment. Yellow is also connected to the Solar Plexus Chakra, (located around the digestive "gut" area) and associated with confidence, courage and personal power.

This month we're going to put some of that awareness into practice.
We'll explore what happens when you've been “kicked in the gut” by life or love, how past experiences can influence the way you interpret what's happening today AND how to recognize when your inner voice is offering wisdom versus when fear is trying to keep you safe.

Most importantly, this isn't going to be a night about everything that has gone wrong.
We're going to celebrate what you've learned, how you've grown and the courage it has taken to get you here.

We'll discuss:

• Intuition vs. fear — what does each one actually feel like?
• How past hurt can influence what we see and feel in a new connection
• The difference between discernment and suspicion
• When protecting yourself becomes preventing yourself from experiencing something new
• How confidence and courage help us move forward
• What our past experiences have taught us without allowing them to define our future

Come ready to think, reflect, share and maybe have a few “Hmmmm… I never thought about it that way” moments.
You don't have to ignore your gut to move forward.
You just need to learn how to discern what it's telling you.
