SF Homeless Innovation Meetup #2

For our second Meetup we’re honored to have Doniece Sandoval join us to speak about her project, Lava Mae, that puts showers and toilets on wheels to reach more homeless people in need. This project was driven by her fierce belief that everyone has a right to dignity, and by the knowledge that access to showers and sanitation are in serious short supply for San Francisco's homeless. We will also be joined by Jessica Brown, Medical Social Worker with Medical Respite - a collaborative effort between the SF Dept of Public Health and C.A.T.S. (Community Awareness & Treatment Services, Inc.). The program provides recuperative care and respite from the streets for San Francisco's most frail homeless people.
