I'm so surprised that the only groups for divorced or single parents are exclusive to either mental health support or for people trying to optimize their divorce "options" (whatever that means)... And there aren't any - just plain - social / happy hour groups!

I would imagine there's a lot of folks in the same boat - i.e. having spent years focused on spouse + family, a divorce can leave a void in your social life. Especially if, like me, you've relocated away from many of your close adult friends.

This is meant as a social group for meeting people in the same boat or the same stage of life - for people that just want to get out of the house and socialize. I have zero experience running a social group so if anyone does and they want to assist, reach out!
