An invitation to stillness, presence, and quiet connection.
Join us for a peaceful evening of meditation in the beautiful surroundings of Montford Park. As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather together on the grass ... under the open sky, among the trees, with birdsong in the air and fireflies beginning to appear.
This will be a mostly silent, 45-minute meditation with some moments of gentle spoken guidance from me to help us arrive, settle, and connect with stillness within ourselves. We’ll begin with a short opening circle to introduce ourselves and share how we’re arriving ... a chance to speak what’s alive for us and create a sense of togetherness before dropping into silence.
After our meditation, we’ll leave some time at the end to connect and share anything that feels present as we close.
✨ What to Bring:
Please bring anything you need to feel comfortable sitting on the ground ... a blanket, cushion, pillow, or folding chair. Whatever supports you best.
⛅️ Weather Note:
My hope is that we’ll be able to gather outdoors in the park to enjoy the natural setting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate we'll meditate at my place which is just a block away from the park. If necessary I'll send the address on the day to those who have RSVP'd for the event.
