# About

Dragonflight GameCon is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer-run social-educational community dedicated to the advancement of the gaming hobby in the Pacific Northwest. The tabletop gaming hobby teaches mathematical, geographical, and historical skills, as well as excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. It also promotes social skills.
Programs Include:

• Run an annual tabletop gaming convention for between 700-1000 attendees of all ages, providing three days of learning, promoting social skills, and enjoying problem-solving games.
• Run a Patreon year-round that engages participants in the tabletop gaming hobby, including chances to play games and interact with Dragonflight GameCon staff and volunteers on new games throughout the year.
• Work with local youth groups to develop clubs and tabletop gaming groups. Provide access to the Dragonflight GameCon library to allow groups to play a broad range of games that they would not otherwise be able to.
• Provide financial and volunteer support to nonprofit conventions in support of tabletop gaming in the Pacific Northwest.
