About us
The Contemporary Design Education Network is a friendly and welcoming professional community for Graphic Design, Games Design and creative educators who are passionate about contemporary teaching practice. Our monthly in-person meetups bring together teachers, lecturers, technicians, researchers and industry professionals to discuss curriculum design, AI in education, creative pedagogy, assessment, portfolio development and emerging industry trends. Meetings include professional discussion, practical idea sharing, networking and guest speakers from education and the creative industries. Whether you’re new to teaching or an experienced educator working in secondary, further or higher education, everyone is welcome. There is no expectation to speak-you are welcome to simply listen, join the conversation when you wish, or actively contribute your own ideas and experiences. The aim is to enjoy relaxed, supportive conversations, build professional connections and learn from one another in an informal and inclusive environment.
