Welcome to the first Contemporary Design Education Network (CDEN) meetup!

Come and help us launch the very first CDEN meetup!

Whether you’re a designer, educator, student, researcher, creative practitioner, freelancer or simply someone with an interest in creativity, we’d love for you to join us for an informal evening of conversation, ideas and new connections.

This first meetup is all about bringing people together. There isn’t a presentation, a lecture or a strict agenda, just a relaxed opportunity to meet others who share an interest in design and the creative industries. We’ll chat about whatever inspires the group, whether that’s AI, design trends, creative careers, education, research, side projects, visual culture or exciting things happening across the industry.

No experience is required and there’s absolutely no pressure to speak if you’d rather just listen. Whether you’re taking your first steps into the creative world or have years of experience, everyone has something valuable to bring and everyone is welcome.

We’ll also spend a little time talking about what you’d like CDEN to become. Your ideas will help shape future events, guest speakers, workshops and discussion topics, making this a community that’s built by the people who are part of it.
