As more adults, particularly women, receive diagnoses for conditions such as ADHD and autism, the conversation around neurodiversity is increasing exponentially as it has entered our popular culture and social media. Twenty percent of those we work with and design experiences for may be on the neurodivergent spectrum.

Considering neurodiversity and other cognitive accessibility needs is an important part of creating inclusive experiences for our users. But it also is important for us to think about within our teams at work. It requires challenging a lot of norms and expectations.

About Our Speaker
Amy Grace Wells is a senior content designer at 10up and has been designing interfaces, building taxonomies, and finding content solutions since 2005. She has designed e-commerce solutions for Bird Watcher’s Digest, served as an expert on content strategy and information architecture for multiple state agencies in Texas, and worked on Department of Defense projects that serve military families.

At 10up she works with clients from Fortune 100 to higher education to design great experiences.
