We are very pleased to announce the screenings of another crowd pleaser from France: Colours of Time. The film will play at the Orinda on 4/24/26 at 3:00; it is
2 hours and 6 minutes long.
Synopsis: United by the unexpected inheritance of a house in Normandy, four estranged cousins discover their family history. While exploring the house, left untouched since the 1940s, they excavate the life of their ancestor, Adèle Vermillard, a 20 year old woman who lived there in 1895. The end of the 19th century saw the birth of both photography and the Impressionist movement, which profoundly changed painting.
Through back-and-forth journeys between 1895 and 2025, they find in the relics of the past what will help them better envision their own future.

I will be outside at 2:45 to welcome attendees and will have my "Meetup" sign but will go in at 2:55 to be seated.
Please do buy your ticket and head on in to choose your preferred seat. Usually
we would meet afterwards in front of the theater to go somewhere within walking distance for a bite to eat and you are all welcome to do this however the host has a later commitment so won't be able to join you. You will decide this on your own and can see who wants to eat where.
The parking garage is now fully automated (no cashier) and gives one hour free parking; for 3 additional hours free parking BE SURE to get a parking validation from the theater.
Note that the theater is about a 15-minute walk from Orinda BART station.
