Primavera
Orinda Theatre, 4 Orinda Theatre Square #3308, Orinda, CA 94563, USA, Orinda, CA, USOur November selection is Primavera from Italy. I believe it is the best historical biography since Amadeus.
Synopsis: A talented violinist, Cecilia, confined in an orphanage, meets Vivaldi who becomes her teacher. Under his mentorship and through his music, she gains courage to break free from the life she was destined for and pursue her passion.

Be advised the Orinda Square garage is now an automated system that takes a photo of your car license plate then calculates your charges as you exit. They have a 1-hour free parking (after that I believe it is $6 per hour). The Orinda Theater can issue a 3-hour parking validation which makes for 4 hours of free parking in total. BE SURE to get your parking validation in the theater lobby before you leave the theater.
There is street parking available for various time periods; check posted signs for more information as it varies quite a bit.
The BART station is approximately a 12-15 minute walk away.The movie is 2 hours long; attendees can decide if they want to go to eat afterwards; there are several places within walking distance. The meetup duration shown is for the movie only; not any optional dinner.
Barbara and/or Valerie be outside the theater with a "meetup" sign to welcome attendees; (those who have joined us before know to go in and purchase your ticket and find your preferred theater seat).
Your hosts will be there to greet newcomers 15 minutes before the movie start-time but will go inside 5 minutes before to take their seat. Welcome all!
