STRAWBERRY CANYON TO CLAREMONT CANYON

9:30 Meet at the Center Street exit, Downtown Berkeley BART (west side of Shattuck Ave.) (restroom in 20 min.). Through the UC campus to Lower Jordan, via redwood forest to Claremont Canyon.
Lunch at stone circle at the overlook. Hike back through Upper Jordan. Several short but strenuous uphill paths. Sticks needed. ~7 miles with ~1300’ elevation gain. Rain cancels. Hikers, please email
