In an increasingly polarized world, the need of the hour is the courage to question both—to think critically and hold space for intellectual friction.

Sitting at the intersection of hyper-convenience and diverse international perspectives, Tokyo serves as the perfect canvas to test our assumptions and re-examine the world around us.

At Your Convenience is a monthly, 2.5-hour discussion forum designed to explore how urban environments, spatial design, and social structures actively shape our conveniences, habits and identities.
We are moving past polite, surface-level networking. Come to question, unlearn, and relearn, not to reach a quick consensus.

Everyone! A cross-cultural mix of locals, expats, returnees, global residents willing to step out of their comfort zones. No academic background or prior reading required—just bring your curiosity, your stories, and a willingness to sit with complex questions.

What cities makes playable vs. silently rule out. Mapping the hidden costs of friction through abandoned childhood hobbies, hyper-safe and accessible leisure.
Interruption 2 | Bring Your Baseline: My Right or Yours| October 2026
Does silent social pressure and transit design govern shared spaces. Compare "first friction" memories and unwritten spatial rules.
Interruption 3 | Linguistic Landscape & Cognitive Barriers: Recalibrating Self| November 2026
Do bureaucratic systems and language barriers shift identity and personal agency. Examine the "translated self" in Tokyo versus home baseline.
