About us
We're a casual group for anyone curious about starting to learn a language or explore new ways of learning. Whether you've been thinking about picking up Spanish, Mandarin, French, or anything else, or you're already dabbling but want some structure and community around it, this is the place. We meet to talk about what draws us to different languages, share resources and methods that actually work for us, and practice conversational skills in a low-pressure environment.
The idea here is to get past that initial hurdle where language learning feels overwhelming or lonely. We're not here to drill grammar or be formal about it. Instead, we focus on building confidence through conversation, swapping tips about apps and books and tutors, and motivating each other to keep going. You'll meet people at all different levels and with all different goals, which makes it really interesting because someone's always learned something useful they can share.
If you've ever wanted to learn a language but didn't know where to start, or you're just getting going and could use some friendly faces and encouragement, come hang out with us. No prior experience needed, no pressure, just people genuinely interested in language and learning together.

Seattle Build Your Korean Flirting Foundation Today
1717 Bellevue Way NE, Seattle, WA, USπ°π· Flirting in Korean: Polite, Charming and Respectful β Live on Zoom
No Korean needed: this is a live beginner class on Zoom, explained in English. Start a friendly conversation, give a compliment, swap KakaoTalk, ask someone out and say or hear no gracefully, in polite Korean.
In the hour, you'll learn to:
- Give natural compliments and answer one modestly
- Start a polite conversation and ask about hobbies
- Say yes warmly, or say no politely
- Invite someone for coffee or a meal and agree on a day
- Take a no gracefully and end on a kind note
Every word comes with romanization, so you don't need to read Hangul yet.
Each phrase comes with how to say it and when to use it. Near the end you try it out loud in a breakout room of 2 or 3, and you keep a phrase sheet with a week of practice ideas.
No fluency promises: one hour is a real start, and the phrase sheet helps you keep it. Camera optional, nothing recorded.
Register through the link below to book your place in the live class.
