Details
Join us Thursday September 14, at the Orpheum Theater for the 10 am OPEN REHEARSAL of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (before their public performance that night). Half a block off Canal St., away from the French Quarter. Tickets are $10 at the door. Free coffee and other treats.
They say: "Get an up-close and personal look at how the LPO rehearses and prepares for performances." And: "We open the 2023-24 season welcoming new Music Director Matthew Kraemer with Beethoven's mighty 5th symphony".

**********
I'll be in the lobby from 9:45 to 9:55. (Not a problem to enter and leave anytime during the rehearsal -- and to roam around the whole building. We typically start on the first floor and move upstairs after their break. I park 6 blocks away on Canal St. Streetcar can be fun as well. And maybe a drink or bite after the rehearsal.)
