Join us Saturday, January 3rd, noon to 1:45p at CC's Coffee House on Esplanade Ave. (between North Broad and City Park). We will be in their community room -- to the right, before the bathrooms, as you walk in. Come and leave anytime.
We'll discuss the 1948 novel "CRY, THE BELOVED COUNTRY" by Alan Paton. About 290 pages.
Set in the prelude to apartheid in South Africa, the novel follows a black village priest and a white farmer who must deal with news of a murder.
