High Rim to Oyama Towers

The High Rim Trail gets a negative rap for being boring as the views are few and far between. It's true! But if you enjoy a walk in the forest with a brief stop at Damer Lake and an awesome view at the end then come along on this one. It's a moderate 12km 400m in and back hike. Undulating!
Part of the adventure is the drive up there. The road used to be terrible but now the last 4.5km is just a typical rough gravel road that any car can do, but take your time. At about km 2.5 from the maintained rd is an awesome view at the hairpin curve. If you're early stop and take a look. Bring the usual water, snack and bug spray just in case.
