For everyone who has contacted me regarding either wanting to know what it takes to host one of our events OR those who contacted me already and want to schedule a cooking theme in their home, clubhouse or whatever venue you choose. IT IS SOO SIMPLE TO DO!

A few months ago I sent out a similar email asking who would like to volunteer to host. I got a very positive response and several people volunteered. However they never carried through even though I left messages or texts. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE THE BEST COOK AROUND TO BE A MEMBER OR HOST!

Being a host/hostess is very simple. I can help you pick a theme. For instance...Italian, Chinese, Mid-eastern, Latin/Caribbean....etc, ! Each member would bring either an appetizer, main or desert to match that dish. We had a sous chef give a demo on how to make Italian clam sauce at one of our members home. Another did Cuban/ Latin theme that was over the top!! We had a disco night theme! Greek theme W/ belly dancers! So the ideas are endless. You tell me how many people can be accommodated in your home - for instance - 30,20, 50...whatever. That is where I will limit the rsvps. Guests will bring their own serving items, paper plates..etc. Usually the host/hostess supplies water, pop. Also guests can bring their own wine, beer....whatever. You make enough of your dish for 6-8 people.

I charge guests $5 and $10 if they bring a guest. A portion will go to the host/hostess for minor incidentals they may supply as well.
