About us
Pause & Breathe Copenhagen is a free, welcoming space to practice mindfulness together: no experience needed, no cost, just an open mind and a bit of curiosity.
Whether you're new to Copenhagen and looking to meet people, a longtime local seeking a moment of calm in your week, or someone exploring mindfulness for stress and wellbeing, this group is for you.
Each session runs for 60–90 minutes and blends guided meditation, mindful movement, and quiet reflection, sometimes outdoors in Copenhagen's parks and along the water when the weather cooperates, and indoors in cozy cafés or community spaces when it doesn't.
Sessions are led by Santiago Pineda, a Level 2 MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) Qualified Instructor certified through Brown University (USA), with additional training as a Mindfulness Instructor from Instituto EsMindfulness (Spain). Santiago holds postgraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Mindfulness from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and in Public Health from Northeastern University (USA). He's an entrepreneur, social activist, and healthcare professional with 10+ years of experience bringing mindfulness and wellbeing practices to communities around the world.
No mats, apps, or prior practice required — just show up as you are. We meet every week to build a small, steady community around presence, breath, and connection. Over time, this group hopes to grow into a worldwide online sangha too! Stay tuned for a newsletter and free online courses.
