Corgi Valentine's Day & Chinese New Year Walk Around Greek Lake

Details

Valentine's Day is on the Wednesday prior and the Chinese New Year starts on that Friday! Normally we are all about spreading the Valentine's Day love. However this new year being the Year of the Dog (Earth Dog no less) is very special given our love of corgis!

So come out and celebrate with a walk around Green Lake!

Meet at the Rowing Stand and we will walk counter clockwise around the lake. Watch out for bikers and runners, as the lake can be pretty busy.

If you’re running late, you can walk clockwise around the lake till you meet up with the group.

Also feel free to leave at your own discretion. Some corgi’s can only walk 1 mile while others can do the whole 3 miles around the lake.

Keep your corgi's well being in mind. At the end of the day, as long as our corgi’s are happy, we are happy. :)

ABOUT THE PARK:
Green Lake is one of Seattle’s most beloved parks. Its expanse of water and green space in the center of a dense urban neighborhood draws thousands of people daily from all over the city. The park serves as a natural preserve for hundreds of species of trees and plants, as well as numerous birds and waterfowl. The newly reconstructed 2.8-mile path around the lake provides a perfect recreational spot for runners, bikers, skaters and walkers. Many others use the athletic fields or visit the park for boating, picnics and swimming.
