About us
Our goal is to form an Artist Club where artist's will meet regularly every week at Events to draw, paint, make all kinds of handcrafts, and socialise as a club. Forming friendships are equally important to support artists.
We now have 2 Events a week . One at weekend's , a Saturday, and one during the week. Please let me know what day and time at the weekend and during the week suit's members best, as a survey?
One last thing we have set up a WhatsApp site for our group where members can chat with one another and see each other's drawings, mostly Meetup Event drawings but I can allow 2 more drawing's a week outside of Event's, but first the drawing's would have to be photographed and given to me, as only I can put them on our WhatsApp page . If you want to be included in our group WhatsApp, first you have to attend at least one Event, then just send me your phone number and I'll include you in that too. Just remember your phone number can be seen by everyone in our WhatsApp group page. You can also contact me privately on WhatsApp, Meetup, or my phone. Peter (organiser) 0858052959 for guidance.
Just some thought's:-
" When I wake up this morning with a groggy head, feeling depressed, and stagger out of bed, move to the window, pull the curtains, a blast of sunshine immediately floods the room. Outside the sunshine pervades everything , everywhere, colours fill the landscape, vibrant colours everywhere , it cheers me up , fills my soul, a thing of great beauty, and I thought if I could capture that sunlight in a painting, that great beauty, that great brightness, would that make a great painting? What about the trees that were little seeds that dug their way out of the earth , breaking their way out into the open space in their hunger for air, and starving for sunlight, and suck their food out of the minerals in the earth, and shoot leaves out of their trunk bodies to try to get more sunlight into their bodies , and breathe more air into their lungs, and the thought comes to me if I could capture that in a painting, would that make a great painting? And I thought surely it must. But why?"

WE could meet at THE CLAYTON HOTEL, and draw either inside, or draw outside, we would have a choice, which is handy weatherwise, and if we want to venture on trip’s drawing we could drive there and give lift’s to beauty spot’s further afield. Who’s up for outdoor drawing adventure?
If shy drawing outdoor's remember your with a group, and you'r so focused in your drawing you forget the public exists.
Art is for everyone, from total beginner, to improver, to medium level, to accomplished level. All are more than welcome, as it's all about having fun, with lovely people. No competitions.
